@CaptAnzuelo or anyone else who has done this - how hard is it to remove the fabric and insulation behond the seats? Any tools required?

I've read that our CGTS models have the symposer, but I can say with absolute certainty that mine does not have it. I pulled the carpet out to install the raised center console and looked very carefully for the opening, nothing whatsoever. Maybe some very it, but mine doesn't.

here's my 2015 Cayman S. I "retrofitted" the symposer in some capacity I guess. Just removed the grommet that was in place in the firewall. There's just some foam behind it.

My car is gutted from the firewall to the hatch area so my setup isn't really the best to make a before after comparison. Lots of mechanical noises come through already.

Ummm...You might want to plug that hole in the firewall. Otherwise, it's not much of a firewall. Just sayin'...

For $4k you could put in a great stereo, or just go "vroom, vroom"!
