Just came back from 4 days of hellish food poisioning. Hadnt done anything really in those days. Now I am pretty much recovered. Just drove the 981, and even with winter tires on it, it was such fun to drive. We really are fortunate to have these cars in our lives, one of the true joys of life!

Amen! Something I'm thankful for.
Edit: the car, not the poisoning.

Yea, sometimes we get distracted and forget to "enjoy" our wonderful cars... Heck, I haven't driven my CGTS for two weeks and I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms... yea, gotta go for a ride..

Having said that, with advancing years, you do get to appreciate just being "well"...

I agree my 981 is a great part of my life. It really has changed it (my life). After marriage and my kids, this car gives me the greatest pleasure in my life. I love it.

If it didn't have PSE and rev matching well then.....it may be number 9 or 10 on the list... lol

It's been a month since I drove mine. It's in storage.

Given the weather here, I can go through long stretches without ever driving the Boxster. During those lapses, I can find myself wondering if I even need a $70,000 sports car collecting dust in my garage. Then the weather breaks, and I get back in the car. Those self doubts all quickly evaporate and I always answer my question the same way: "Yes, I really do need this car."

It's a good life. Well not the food poisoning.

Not only do I still drive with the top open, I even have my PSS tires still on.

Three cheers to global warming! I'll never look down on the SUV punks again, they spend all their money on the gas to make me feel warm.
