I recently returned from a trip from Boston to Quebec City (north through New Hampshire, south through Maine). Lots of high speed runs with not a car in sight.
During the trip, the low oil level came on, and I added Mobil 1 until it was up to the correct line (the top arrow). It took between 1/2 and 3/4 of a quart.
This morning, I noticed the oil level is now all teh way up to the top line, one line above the correct one!
What to do? I assume it is just barely up a line, but I wondering if I should drain a bit out? If so, where is the bolt?? I looked, but could not find.
I know there are serious issues with having too much oil. So far performance is fine.
Peace, Michael
ps mileage is now 2600
