crazyrob, no pkgs were available when I did my '09 custom order. You don't mention if infotainment pkg also includes usb/ipod/aux option. You'll need that if you want to listen to your ipod through car's sound system.
In Houston, XM definitely worth it, at least for me. I can find fewer than 5 FM stations worth listening to, and one of those is NPR.
PCM gives you access to a lot more than just control over XM - lighting, memory, etc. And the nav system is very good - it means one LESS device to fumble around with and is well integrated into the PCM.
