I just thought there might be someone interested in this info i just got, it is the documentation for the interface you can get through parrot to use the multifunction steering wheel, I had one of these installed in my previous Merc C class and worked like a charm:

Official Integration with MFSW and Parrot Bluetooth

If you go to Parrot's website, you will see that they now offer a product to integrate with the multifunction steering wheel (Parrot - Parrot MULTICAN). Unfortunately, the one manufacturer that is not officially supported is Porsche.

HOWEVER, I have been in contact with the actual manufacturer of the MultiCAN system and they just finished making the unit for Porsche (including PCM +/- Bose).

They are looking for testers to make sure it works.

What would be ideal (IMHO) is for this to work with the newest MK6100 - then you can control a phone that also can play music via Bluetoth (i.e. iPhone, Blackberry, or Treo) - A2DP! That would get rid of the need for the Dension!

If anyone is interested, please let me know...

I'm still waiting for my Cayman S (otherwise, I would be testing right now!).
