I suspect that the person who posted this question is someone who re registers to site under different handles (now he is xxxjokerxxx). The context of the questions do not change.
Must we take the bait...again.

xxxjokerxxx - Welcome to the Cayman Club. If you have read every word on the CC, then you could easily answer your own question - there have quite a few and some very long discussions on what is available in the way of performance modifications for the Cayman. If you do a searh through the "Cayman Mods" forum, you should have plenty of stuff to read. If you're trying to start a new discussion on this subject that's different than what you've already read, and others have already posted about, then I think you're going to have to be more specific in your request.
There's several examples already here on the CC where 40-50 HP was achieved for less than $10k. K-Man S' car had an ecu flash, new exhaust, and evo intake, the de-snork, and some other mods which he's dyno-ed to about 50 HP or so.

Thanks beez you are right my question has been answered over and over i should have phrased it if you had 10,000 what parts would you pick as a cayman owner to get the best performance out of the cayman, and the way you responded was quite professional thank you.It really was a question to see if i could get anthor gear head on the site to talk with
Cocodrillo is another example. He has the Milltek headers with the Tubi exhaust. I know he is desnorked and I believe he also has the intake and ecu flash. My personal opinion is that the Orton flash is better than the GIAC, but part of that is due to the flexibility of working with Neil. Being able to change the throttle mapping since I didn't purchase the SC option in addition to the performance gains is well worth it.
I think you will find three camps here ... Those who want to keep the car purely stock, Those who want to do light mods (headers, exhaust, chip, etc), and Those that are doing major mods (supercharger, 3.8l engine, etc). If you are already planning to spend 10k, you may want to reconsider and bump that to 15k. Orton will get you a supercharger and up to 410 hp for 14,300 installed. It won't sound as nice, but it will give it that venom you seem to want.
Also you might describe how the Cayman invisioned would be used; track, street or both and if you are talking "base" or CS? Also does the expenditure relate to hp only or assoicated other upgrades to achieve a specific purpose?
1) reflash the ecu < $1000
2) new exhaust ( miltek, awe, tubi, Kreisseg f1 $5500 --> i want this too)
3) desnork ( find out how to do this on the article sections)
4) contact sharkie for stage 2 !!
I was impatient and did the MIlltek headers and catback, EVO air filter. If I were you I would await what RUF will offer for the Cayman. So far, no word yet but they may come out w/ an offer like 9ff that would be in your price range. Supposedly they will come out w/ something for the Cayman this Spring.
