Hi All,

I purchased a short shifter from Suncoast (thanks Phil!!) and I am doing my homework before diving into it. I read "all" the articles/posts but it doesn't seem like anybody really says HOW to pop the top plastic off without scratching the knob (or anything else) in the process. *edit* yes, after that title I can neither confirm nor deny that I speak goodly english and know how to spel...yeesh, what's wrong with me. :)

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the responses. I do have the Bose and I didn't even think about how the subwoofer plays into it. Thanks for the heads up!
