Question, does anyone know if the ECO button on the climate control isn't used, is the AC compressor working? I guess is it like an anti AC button?
Jason. I believe that the 'ECO' button is simply an on/off switch for the compressor. That is what the dealer told me anyway. Nobody told me, but that's what I assume. It's great the way it stays on after a restart. In my Z I was always racing to the button after turing the key. i think if you have auto climate control, yes, the AC compressor is on a lot of the time. at least that's how it works on my infiniti. the P dealer told me the same thing and said if you press the eco button, then the AC compressor turns off. Eco button turns off AC compressor, I usually have the ECO button lit up most of the time for that extra ounce of performance...

Exactly........I rarely even use the A/C until temps get past 90......mostly drive with the windows down.......funny, I'm kind of an open air guy.......but hate aconvertible......go figure.

AtlasCroc....It's easy to figure out as I drive the same way...Have even been known to drive with the heater on high and widows down just to enjoy the drive experience in the cold.....
Ironically, I find that I love driving this car with the windows down as it makes the drive all that more involving. So far this year I haven't needed the A/C on with the windows down. Drove the Ortega Run with the windows down all the way, that, combined with nearly 5 gallons of racing fuel, made that the best drive ever. Jackwood,
I agree, there is nothing worse than a steemed up 'widow'. I prefer married women myself.
