    bye bye cayman S

    Hi All,
I have been a frequent reader on this forum but not as much of a poster.
However, i have been lurking on this forum ever since i bought my 06 cayman S and you guys have been very informative and helpful.
Through this forum, i got my hands on Softronicicon plus and agency power exhaust.
Many of you might disagree with me on this and i am ready for flaming from all you softronic lovers, but my overall performance and service experience with softronic was quite unpleasant.
On the other hand, i loved the quality of product and service on agency power exhaust from vivid racing.
Anyways, I just sold my cayman and switched to MB C63 coupe and was very sad to hand over my keys to the dealership.
Anyways, thank you all again and i will continue to visit this website for exciting and entertaining discussion.
    Happy holidays all!!

You can't just say that without any details.

    I have a C63 and the CS.
C63 has loads of torque but the CS can beat it off the mark owing to the far greater level of grip and lower weight.
C63 sounds damn nice though . burrrrrbbb

    Hmmmm,

I think the Soft flash works best when you let the car breathe better, i.e. SRPicon, De-snork, BMC, Sport headers or catless...and lastly low flow muf's for sound. This is what i have done and happy with the overall results. Soft flash and SRP was installed by previous owner so have not had any experience there. Did have a little spat with the exhaust guys though...but sometimes that's how it goes !!! I have been looking at the SLS. Had an AMG before and enjoyed that a lot. It was a high speed rocket Got her well into the 3 digits stable as can be.
I aspire to be the person my dog thinks i am.

They say when one life leaves another comes around. So here I am, new to this forum and signing on just today. 2008 Cayman S, white. BOSE upgrade and ready to tear out the original radio and upgrade to Sirrius (long time Howard Stern fan), GPS, iPod connection, etc. Any suggestions. Oh, this Cayman is by far the best car I've own ever. Fun to drive, tight, amazing. The biggest negative? Not being able to see it as I tear up the rest of the world.

Get the SLS, it is one hell of a car. Its very difficult to drive, (I drive it with traction control off all the way) but once you get the hang of it its a blast. The car goes sideways everywhere, but once you have it pointed in the right direction it takes of like a rocket, I like it because the front end is really well planted and if you want to play around you can get the back end loose very easily, but if you want to drive it fast around a corner its possible.

I'm sure you'll miss the sportiness and spirit of the Cayman, but even with an aftermarket exhaust on a CS I still drool over the sound of an AMG at full chat!

A bit disapointed you didn't say C63 Black Series though

Enjoy the new MB and let us see some pics and a quick review
