paint pcm 3 how the heck you get it opened up so you can take out the faceplate to paint it?
thank yiu for any help! Re: paint pcm 3 It is not very easy...this is why Porsche charges so much for it as an option...I did see an article about it somewhere...try a search and I will wrack my brain. JCO CST Re: paint pcm 3 i searched alot already and couldnt get to the needed info by that Re: paint pcm 3 got the front plate out but you cannot take out the buttons as they are locked from the back
since there is another plate over them and the black dots are plastic which was melted to put it together
so i am stuck here now - btw porsche wont do a pcm III paint if not ordered with the car over here Re: paint pcm 3 I did paint my bezel from the radio and A/C, and it was a very laborious project. The radio has some vey fragile tabs holding the bezel to the radio, this is the hardest part. Once the bezel is painted, this snaps back into the radio easily. My bodyshop painter was not happy when he saw how fragile it was. The end result is a gorgeous bezel that matches the outside color of the car.
Think Different , Think Porsche...
2008 Porsche Cayman Turbo 2.7L Guards Red
2009 Audi Q7 white
2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Titanium Metallic (gone)
2001 Porsche Boxster Speed Yellow (dead)
Re: paint pcm 3 all earlier PCMs are easiy compared to PCM 3 as the bottuns are not just clipped from inside but have been melted with plastic into the whole frame...
