The configurator works fine with my XP system, but not my new-fangled Vista thing. The 3D version won't display the cars. Has anyone else noticed this, or do I have the wrong version of Shockwave or some other software?

I think you need to add some IE software. Go to adobe.com and install the latest flash and shockwave players.

if above suggestion doesn't do it ..... turn Protected Mode to Off (It is indicated on the bottom of the IE 8 Browser) ..... you can turn it back on after you're done playing with the 3D Configurator ....

Vista uses Internet Explorer same as XP. I think the Porsche site runs on Shockwave. You might have a problem with your browser. You can try upgrading to IE 8 or another browser as in Firefox or Apple Safari.
