Re: National Drivers Test

I could have sworn tailgating helped reduce traffic congestion

Re: National Drivers Test

I got two wrong, the passing on the right and the yellow light one. Two that I think have changed sense I took my test.

Re: National Drivers Test

I got them all correct, but I answered the test question, not the way I actually drive. After all, doesn't a yellow light really mean to stomp it and get the heck through the intersection before the light turns red? And isn't the purpose of tailgating to convince the slowpoke in the left lane that they ought to get the heck out of the way?? And when a pedestrian walks out in front of you, don't you brush by as closely as possible to scare the bejesus out of them and make them think about looking next time?? And merging on the freeway, doesn't it make morre sense to be going faster than traffic flow to better facilitate slipping into a gap?

Re: National Drivers Test

Re: National Drivers Test

1 wrong. Yellow light. I said be prepared to stop. Correct answer was "stop if safe".

Re: National Drivers Test

They say I got one wrong. Maybe, but not where I live. You may NOT pass on the right on a multi-lane highway in Germany. May cost you your license. One of the many reasons that Germany can still have unlimited parts of the autobahn.

Re: National Drivers Test

I got two wrong. The ones most people seem to stumble on, solid yellow and passing on the right.

Re: National Drivers Test

I missed one, solely based on my inability to read written English. I read the second tailgating answer as "can" not "cannot" and therefore chose that answer.

A thousand lashes with a wet noodle.

Re: National Drivers Test

I got 6 out of 20 right, then again I didn't read a single question but just went down the list randomly selecting answers. So in summation, even a monkey should be able to get 30% of this test right.
