    Photos Automotive Supermodels

I'm establishing this car pictures thread open for everybody to contribute to. The reason, I'm doing so is that I usually come across pictures that I cannot resist admiring / sharing / saving!

And what's better to start with other than seeing the Red Stallion going to the dark side!! God, have mercy!!!

I always thought the same thing about Ferraris needin' to be red. However, I have to admit that I would probably take that black one over a red one. My jaw dropped when I expanded the pictures.

God bless you Flea!!! I see you and I have much in common... I guess I won't be surprised if I heard you jumped on TPCicon boat too

Back to the GT... it is an icon that raised the bar to all supercars !!!

Some may question the looks, the interior, the running cost! But when you hear that angry Gothic roaring sound... AWE !!!

I believe it was the first time I read your "Let's talk business" thread that I sent Casey a PM. I was curious if a turbo could be put on the 2.7L. Then he informed me about the low pressure turbo. It wouldn't be even remotely close to the monster that yours is, but it would be a nice boost from what the 2.7L puts out now. Only two things are holdin' me back right now: 1. A wife that says no, not right now. 2. I bought the car used and want to wait until the CPO is expired, just to make sure there are no issues with the car from the previous owner. Once the wife gives me the green light and the warranty is up, a turbo is on the list. I already told Casey that I would drive up to their shop and leave it with them.

As you said, back to the GT. I don't question anything about it. In my eyes, the Carrera GT is absolutely beautiful. The sound of that car makes any video of it rated R, because dirty things might happen. It's intoxicating.

I think the Boxster Spyder looks like the GT's little brother. Could be one of the reasons I can't stop droolin' over the Spyder. That TPC Spyder is gonna be sick!

    Re: Automotive Supermodels

Those SV's are SWEET! When I was livin' outside Houston, TX, there were a couple SV's in the town; a black one and a red one (or maybe it was yellow instead of red...). Those cars sound evil as they look.

And I love how Lambo can make their cars look the same, but different enough to be a new model. They keep the iconic styling.

That blacked out Ferrari is positively pornographic. I would love to see that in person! Stunning.

    Re: Automotive Supermodels

Porsche of the Main Lineicon has one in their used inventory. Very pretty! But, so is a red R8, w/ black side blades. Then, there's the Speed Yellow and very enticing '07 Turbo at Porsche of the Village.

    Re: Automotive Supermodels

The Arial Atom 3 is a sexy car in my eyes. Not so much because of its looks, which I don't mind at all, but because of what it can do.

The Arial Atom 500 takes that to a new level. I can't even imagine what over 500 bhp in this light of car would feel like.

It's pretty much an insane go kart that's street legal!

    Re: Automotive Supermodels

I just read more about the Ariel Atom 3, and it doesn't look like it's street legal. Well, at least not in the United States. I thought I'd read before that they were. That's disappointing. Not sure if the Ariel Atoms really qualify for this thread anymore.

I quote from their website: "600 rwhp which should put this car solidly in the high 10 second quarter mile range"

Re the Heffner twin turbo R8, seriously scary. And..they did a beautiful piece of workmanship with the exhaust and welding. Some of the fit, finish and tig welding shown in the photos posted of various Cayman exhaust upgrades is atrocious,

I agree. That setup on the R8 is beautiful. Would almost hate to cover it up. It's clean, elegant, and wicked at the same time.
