If you’ve spent some time reading posts here at the Cayman Club, chances are you’ve come across some of mine. I write about a lot of different topics, many times with authority and depth. If you’re lucky, my posts were helpful to you. If you weren’t, you may have been on the receiving end of my moderation. Either way, the thought may have crossed your mind……, “Who is Gator Bite….?”

I grew up the son of an auto mechanic. My Dad owned an Arco station where he repaired cars of all types....

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. Thinking about my identity and personality here at the Cayman Club. Most of this brought on by a recent negative experience at another forum that is poorly moderated. I thought, "maybe I should write a new blog entry sharing a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes". Welcome to 'The Diary of a Madman'. The diary of a Super Moderator at the Cayman Club....

I've been a member here since October 2006. I had little to no experience...

Amazing how fast two weeks can go by. We started day 12 in Strasbourg France, home of the European parliament. I might have liked to look around a bit, but honestly, we didn't have any time. So we did a quick drive by of the EU parliament for a couple of pictures, then we were off on our journey back to Stuttgart.

OK, it's that time again. Ina and I are back in the USA and we have good internet access and a little more time to write.

Day 11 started in Haren, Ina's hometown in the far Northwest of the country. We had about 3 hours of driving ahead of us before we would reach Koblenz, home of the Nurburgring. The A-31 cuts through the Northwest of Germany, stretching from the North Sea down to to the West Central area of Essen. It's also a great place to do some high speed runs. Long, straight,...

We started our day in Mayen, at Ina's Aunt Petra and Uncle Haralds, who were kind enough to put us up for the night on very short notice, due to our sudden change of plans. Mayen is in the Koblenz area, about 30 km away from the Nurburgring. Here is the first sign that we saw as we were leaving. So tempting.....



Day 3 would be an autobahn day. Our destination would be Ina's home town...
