I could be wrong, but I think postage & handling if mailed means they mail you the tickets instead of having you try to pick them up at will call.

Since I'm not familiar with the area and track, I'm having them send me the tickets. Now I only have to remember to bring them down with me!

There is an $8 fee for mailing to you or you can choose a $3 fee for will call pick up on site. I choose $8 mail to me option so I can have my tickets ready to go by the time I park my car.

I guess it depends on who "else" besides the Cayman Club has access to these applications or other means of securing the parking (as well as how long they have had this access). I faxed mine in because I too wanted to be within the first 200.

I guess only time will tell.

I can tell you that we have early access to this form, but that it is going into wider distribution shortly so I do expect the spots to fill up fast!

Just sent FAX'ed mine in too.

I hope no one will goto town with my CC number!

Let's see

1. Registered
2. Hotels booked
3. ALMS Ticket purchased

Now all I have to figure out is how to fit a wash bucket plus a mini-detailing kit along with clothing and camera kit in the car.

Will we have access to a water hose at the hotel?

I don't know yet about car washes or hose at the hotel, etc. or whether or not they are under water restrictions like they were in North Carolina during parade. Anyone from Atlanta care to comment?

I can reference you to this post I put up last year.

http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-cha...uggestion.html

I still use this storage bin and I do get a good size bucket inside of it, along with microfiber towels, wax, sprays, even a small jack. I really like it. But if you read others alternative suggestions, you can see others have their favorite as well.

This leaves the entire rear boot for luggage to ATL.

Hope this helps.

Fax info?

Ken, the PorschePlatz form I downloaded from your link doesn't have any fax info... No phone numbers at all actually.

Can someone please post the fax# to send the registration to...

Fax number is at the very bottom of the page, far right corner.

Hmmm... Not on the printed copy, so I went and looked at the soft copy and yes it is there. That whole last line didn't show up when I printed it out.

Thanks!

Good to know so that others don't have the same problem, are you sure your printer didn't print a second page with just the last line on it?

Nope. I got one page only. It MIGHT just be my printer but I've got a fairly high end home office HP inkjet.

Also, when I tried to fax to that number I got a generic answering machine not a fax. Tried it 3 times.

Edit: I looked at the soft copy and under print preview it shows 1 page and that footer isn't there. Seems like a formatting issue?

Did you leave a message on that machine? Let me know if someone calls you back and says what the fax # should be. I thought someone above was able to fax last week, but I haven't tried it yet.... weird...

No issue with the fax number on the form. I apparently had a brain fart and transposed 2 numbers.

FYI I ran the numbers this morning and we are 81% of the way to break even now! We have 11 pending registrations where people have registered but not yet paid for the event. If those people come through, then we'll break even for sure!

Keep those registrations coming!

Its been over two weeks since I faxed in my order form for the tickets (I have the fax confirmation sheet). No tickets yet.

Should I look into this or will they be mailing out at a later date (if you know the answer Ken)?

Thanks

In the past, my ALMS tickets for Lime Rock weren't sent out until less than a month before the race.

I suspected as much. This is my first ALMS race, so it is all unfamiliar.

Thanks.
