I went into the dealership and gave him the Specs for my 2010 Cayman S build, he told me I am number 1 on the list, and the order would go through when they recieve an allocation. I understand that it is out of my hands now. I want to thank all the members here for giving great advice, and especially Morbo for the referral.

I'm dreading the wait already, but I can't wait for delivery and my first ride in it.

On another note, does anyone know how dealers recieve allocation slots? The dealer estimated mine to be a September build, yet they don't have an allocation slot. So that was weird.

In addition, the MSRP for the MY 2010 Cayman S is 61,500. A 1300 price increase.

Congratulations on your 2010. My understanding is that dealers have allocations based on previous year's sales figures. So the one that sells more cars has more subsequent allocations. I'm not sure if dealers improve their standing with PAG if they submit more orders vs cars for dealer inventory.

The wait is the worst part.
