Unfortunatley there are so many idiots out there that it dosen't matter if it's a Lambo, Saturn, VW, or whatever, clowns will be clowns.

Reminds me seeing Derek Sanderson's Rolls Royce when he was the highest paid athlete in the universe playing for the Boston Bruins in the early 70's and someone was kind enough to rip the hood ornament off, keyed the **** out of the doors, ripped a door handle right off, his initials were on them I think, stole 1 wheel cover, for what?

Many people unfortunately have no socially-responsible outlets for their darker impulses. When I had one of my Dino GTs stripped to the metal nine years ago, the painter applied some chemical stripper and told me to take a screwdriver to the left quarterpanel, to start the chemical reaction. Even though all of the paint was going to come off, I was unable to do it! My only thought on this incident is, perhaps it prevented the perpetrator from taking out his frustrations on another human being, perhaps the car's owner. 987f

You know this was my first thought. I've seen too many pictures of cars destroyed by a scorned woman. Some of those pictures are just brutal; pick axes all through the car, cans of paint dumped in the interior, spray painting obscenities on the exterior, just to name a few. It makes a keyed exterior seem like nothing.

several months ago, someone keyed every body panel of my neighbor's highly modified 350z. cops couldn't do anything except file a report. my neighbor got the car repainted. whats the world coming to?

It has being going on as long as i can remember.This kind of vandalism may well be more frequent given the current economic times.But i have seen this kinda of chicken poop stuff before these times.I put it down to that this kinda car stands out and therefore makes it a natural target for sick small minded ignorant idiots...EVEN if it was some kind of personal vandeta it still is a chicken way to deal with it.

My wife is a high school teacher who came out to the teacher parking lot to see her pearl white Lexus was keyed down the whole side. Nothing the school could do but my wife was sure it was a disgruntled student. The school paid our deductible but we were out of a car for a week. Not fun
