Exhaust Option Summary please

There have been several options posted on this site about after-market exhausts and tips. I'm considering doing one or both but am confused at what various options are outthere spread across myriad chat threads.

I sure would love for someoneto summarize what's currently available (US), what performance increases it supposedly gives and whether it's been proven, how much to buy and to install, and their opinions in general. I really like the looks of the one Coupe did in this thread for less than $1500. It looks absolutely killer. Thanks mucho. -sjd

Here are the pics from the other thread installed. (I hope I did this right, monitors). He's also got a video with sound in the other thread. Looks superb and professional IMHO. -sjd

The Miltek exhaust will make its debut shortly, along with dyno charts, sound clips, etc.

There are a bunch of brands coming out with their versions. With dyno sheets of hp numbers here is whom I know of so far:

Supersprint, Tubi, Gembella, Milltek, Sportec, Techart, AWE, 9ff, Ruf, B&B, Fabspeed. I might have missed a few, that is only off the top of my head. I'm sure in the future, you will see others like Eisenmann, Magnaflow, Borla, Cargraphics to name a few.

Does anyone know wheter or not any of the aftermarket exhaust systems allow you to turn it on and off a la PSE? Or only Porsche exhaust will do that?

Thanks
