Stefan and Sven:
Great talking to both of you - hope midnightwas not too late in Berlin...
Just ordered my unit on the website with the discount (after experiencing IE7 Beta2 problems, which, (a) did not reliably detect an item in the basket and (b) threw me back to the home page, everytime I tried to enter order data and pressed CONTINUE). A Firefox install 'corrected' this.
|
Hi Rainer: Firefox is a good decision, IE sucks!!

I forgot to put down my Cayman Club name under 'remarks for us'. Hope that's OK.
|
No, that's not ok.
:-)
But please send me your email or realname so that I am able to assign your order.

Hi,
If the product works on a UK spec car and I can order/deliver it to the UK, I'll be ordering one unit too.
Looks like a great groupbuy..!
cheers

Oooops. Tried placing the order, but after I entered by credit card number and hit continue I got an error:-
'Sorry, this page can not be accessed directly.
Please make sure your browser accepts cookies and javascript, then use the main site.'
Cookies & javascript are enabled. I'm not sure if I have placed an order or not. How do I check..?
cheers

Well, if you don't have received an order confirmation on the SCREEN AND BY EMAIL, the order WAS NOT PROCESSED.

CaymanTime,
Those photos are already in the installation manual which is available online at the mods4cars.com site and we linked to it here way back in this message topic thread. The first 2 units are going to install testers to follow the instructions and see how they do with their installs, but in the mean time you can download the manual and read it for yourself. It comes complete with pictures.

Bump for this question.
I remember reading that it was possible to enable/disable the side markers as blinkers when signalling. Did this not make it into the final feature set? It is too late to add? I think that would be a nice thing to have (I realize that people in my blind spot cannot see me signal)

Went to place order but.....
For those of us outside the US, we cant pay in US$. huh?? You get a price in Euro. Now US$199 = EU155.35, but the web site price with the discount goes from EU249 and ends up at EU169. which back calulates to US$216. Seems all not is equal. Am I right?

Stevie,
Only YOU can do that. If you subscribe to something only YOU can usubscribe. To do so go to your subscription manager: http://www.planet-9.com/subscription_mgr.aspclick on the checkbox next to this topic and click the button to unsubscribe. Mass unsubscribing isn't working at the moment, so you have to do them one by one if you have more than one subscription.

As I already told you by email: The Euro price is 249,00 and you receive a rebate of 80,00 Euro (nearly $100).
We cannot change our product prices everyday according to the actual dollar/euro exchange.

I do have a question on the installation. In reading them, its not clear what set of yellow and black wires are 'door' and what are 'car'. Can you be more specific and say what ones come out of the top block and what ones come from the bottom block? Also, do you recommend disconnecting the battery while doing the installation?
