Hey folks, glad to finally be a full member of the fraternity. Thanks everyone for all the great reading material, advice, and sharing your experiences. This community is such a valuable resource. It's surreal seeing it in the garage. This is by far the wildest car my wife and I have ever owned. Porsche Mesh and clear side markers to go on shortly. Only options are heated sports seats and PSE. BE comes with a good option list out of the box. I'm predicting an early spring.

I'm in Ottawa. Purchased from Mark Motors. Dealer experience to this point has been great. Out of the blue they threw in 3 years free service. All my requests were handled quickly and didn't require follow up on my part. I asked to have the car delivered with as much of the packing/plastics/etc. that could leave on, which they did. They helped with the sale of my Golf and provided much good advice along the way. I could say more but I'm already sounding like a sales person. Of course one can only discover the true integrity of a dealership when problems arise.

Congrats! Nice added options. You will love the PSE, especially once you make it past the break in period.

I too am hoping that this mild winter will continue and that we will soon seen spring weather. Would love to have the car out early this year and have a longer driving season.

Rockcliffe Parkway? That is a hot bed for troopers for sure. Such a nice stretch of pavement. All those long fast sweepers and 60km .

Funny you mention speeding there. When I test drove the Boxster Rockcliffe was part of the route we took. The salesman said I could buzz it up a bit but keep my eyes open. Sure enough we saw an OPP. I was able to get off the throttle quick and jump on the brakes. I never forget my older brother telling me, "If you're speeding and see a cruiser, hit the brakes. Doesn't matter if the front bumper sends sparks off the pavement. Just beat the radar."

I didn't grow up here but Ottawa is a great town. I'm happy to call it home.

It's the Porsche "indoor only" cover. Very nice fit, material, and construction. I'd recommend it. Comes with a nice little storage bag too.
