What the badge means to you

Today I spent some time washing the Croc b4 a daddy/daughter day. The Princess' chariot needs to be immaculate.

I did all of the usual stuff. When it came to drying the hood, I noticed that I seem to always stop and admire the badge. That shiny badge surrounded by a reflective pool of Meteor Gray always gets me thinking. I reflect on what it took to get to this point and it makes me proud.

What do y'all think about when you see your baby?

Re: What the badge means to you

What the badge means to me is a 30+ year love affair with the marque.

But ........ the only gold on my CS was the badge and it just didn't look right. So not being one to leave well enough alone, I have changed the stock gold badge to a silver one. Check it out. Looks great on my Seal Grey CS with the clear side markers.

Totally agree....I replaced the hood badge with a silver one also and traded my colored wheels caps for black/silver ones....but what to do about the badge on the steering wheel? Have you found a solution for that last bit of gold?

Re: What the badge means to you

Now in my 60s (a lot older and just a bit wiser), I am shy about messing with the airbag equipped steering wheel. But... if someone one is successful in finding a silver badge for the steering wheel hub and replacing it, I'm all ears. ;>)
