hello

A few hours ago I raced my stock CS facelift 2009 with a full stage 1 Cayman S (tubi exhaust, K&N filter , TTp headers , TTp remap, 19'' porsche turbo wheels )

results:



1st race Drag from 0km/h - 240+ km/h

CS 2009 was 1 car in front the TTP (TTP started a bit faster)

2nd race Roll from 1st gear 40km/h - 240+ km/h

CS 2009 was 2 cars in front the TTP

3rd race Roll from 1st 60km/h-240+km/h

CS 2009 and TTP (ttp started half a car in front but as both owners agreed the TTP had more power in high revs and would make the gap bigger than it was)
4rth race Roll from 2nd gear

CS 2009 was half way past the TTP

EDIT: my mistake cayman TTP was 2 cars behind in the 2nd race the TTP owner corrected me cause I assumed the distance from my mirrors.

+ something interesting that i forgot to mention is that we made a 5th race and the TTP was 4-5 cars in front. but the road quality was bad thus the pdk cannot lauch control at badd roads i was spinning till 2nd gear...

+ depending where we 2 cars are reving when the race starts from Roll the 2 cars in power ar almost the same. the only difference is the transmission that gives the advandage or the disadvantage ..

So would is be fair to assume that the modifications provided less than 25 HP?

25HP would have made the two cars equal.

forgot to say mine was PDK...so my transmission is shorter.... 7gears...
i do not know what was the HP of the cayman TTP

Was it George from keratea? if he was him, you have done vvvvveeeryyy goooddd. he has passed very strong cars like M3 e92, and some other modified strong cars. Iam in love with your cayman S (pdk)

I was searching for a long time to find a new caymanS in order to see what our differences are.We did many different races!

1st race.0-250km/h

CaymanS ttp in front aproximantly 5cars.(this large difference was the resault of medium road condition which PDK's launch control launched the car with far more revs than the ideal ( 6500rpm), resulting in massive wheelspin in comparison with the manual cayman s,plus that my car is stronger at highest speed.

2nd race

rol from 1st gear low rpm 4,000

This time the pdk CaymanS was in front by 2cars till 220km because the pdk has 1 more gear than my car give it an advantage of the shorter gear

3rd race
Rol from 1st gear hi rpm 5,500

CaymanS ttp in front by 2 cars,with a tendancy to open the gap as the km where rising

4th race rol from 2nd gear till 220-230km

The 2 car goes exactly the same

5th-6th race.0-220

Due to a bad start on my part pdk was in front by 2 cars,second race I start better and the cars was equaly strong.
