Talking I did it. Picke up "new" 07 from dealer today

Picked up my Cayman today. 2007, Silver/black, mats, self dim mirrors-rain sensors, 19" Car wheels, sound plus, auto climate, and remote Cd. 120 miles on the clock. No revs over range one. Punched Oct. of 07. I really appreciate all the knowledge you all imparted to me over the last couple of months. Car rides and handles like a dream. My only problem is what looks like mineral deposits on the paint and front window. Can not get it off no matter how hard I wax and clean. Oh well only shows under certain light. Hope I can contribute more to this great site. Just have to share I removed all the"etching". See post removing etching on paint.

There's detailing pros and experts on the board who can help. Just be glad you're not gonna be nursing one in black -- they look fabulous and then, five minutes later, the dust has ruined it again...

I know. I have had many black cars. That is why I went silver this time. Easy to care for and always looks clean.

A BIG congratulations on the new arrival, let the good times roll. About your not wanted mineral deposits. I would set aside a good allotment of time and throughly Clay your Cayman, that should take are of ALL the residue on her. A search of the site could help with learning the technique involved. I'm a big long term user / fan of Zaino which has been a sponsor as of last year. By Arctic Silver CS has LUV'ed their products for the last two years .

+1 on Zaino. I have been using it for a couple of years now. It is easy to apply, it smells great, the car looks great and I have always received fantastic service and communication from the company. Congrats on you purchase.

Congrats! I've had my "new" 2007 for a week now (1050 miles by previous owner). Silver/black too (this one had to be silver). I hope you two will be very happy together.

Congrats on the ride!

Thumbs up also for the Menzerna products. I use them on my Arctic Silver and really like the results.

Welcome!
