Ordered my dream car tonight

2008 CS
Meteor Gray
Sand Beige (Full Leather)
Carpeting in Deviating Color (BLACK)
Preferred Package
Porsche Active Suspension Management System (PASM)
Sport Seats
Xenon Headlamp Package
Rear Window Wiper
Leather Rear Center Console
Leather Gear Lever Trim
Steering Column in Leather
Door Finishers in Leather
Storage Lid Bin w/Porsche Crest

$2000 over invoice (a hair under $65K), May 30 build slot.

I was going to get Arctic Silver, but there was a MG in the showroom tonight, and I fell in love. AS looks better in pictures, but I think MG looks better in person (it was my first choice anyway, but a friend talked me into AS).

Wonderful Cayman. I have AS but agree that MG is very classy and you don't see it everyday. The interior you have chosen should be a nice contrast. Don't forget to show is pictures when you get it.

Congrats!

May I suggest Sport Steering Wheel instead of the rear window wiper.

For all of you leather heads, I would strongly recommend doing the sun visors too. Once you see them you'll be sorry if you don't have them.

I must admit the sport wheel grew on me during my test drives, but I still prefer the look of the standard wheel.

I went with some extra leather not so much because I love leather, but because I thought the plastic bits that I covered were just too cheap looking/feeling (except maybe the leather door finishers, which I just love the look of).

I want to be happy with this car for a long time (more than my usual 2 years), so I covered every plastic thing that might conceivably bother me, and while the standard sun visors are not pretty, they don't bother me.
