YANCT (Yet Another New Cayman Thread)

Hello,

I'd like to introduce myself and my new baby, a 2008 cobalt blue Cayman S 6-speed. I picked her up Friday evening, but then we left for Aruba early Saturday morning. Kinda bittersweet--glad to be on vacation, but also anxious to get home to drive her around.

It was time for me to get a new car since we just moved from Manhattan back to the Midwest. I've wanted a 911 Turbo for as long as I can remember, but not ready to make that commitment yet. I didn't know much about the Cayman until I started coming to this great forum. The Cayman seemed perfect for what I wanted, so I decided a cobalt blue CS would be the one.

I got an outrageous deal from Joseph Northland Porsche in Cincinnati, Ohio. They were great to work with and found a new one to trade for. The car I got has the bi-xenons, climate control, heated seats, and Bose (Blowz???) stereo that I wanted. It also came with the exterior aluminum look package and spoiler lips, Porsche crests in headrests, and aluminum foot pedal that I wouldn't necessarily have picked myself, but new cobalt blue CSs sitting on dealer lots aren't that common. I'm still deciding on how well I like the silver side air intakes...

To any Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati owners: I'd love to do a GTG. I'll be checking the Regional Cayman Forums.

Tony

I think Cobalt is one color that looks great with the alumalook accents. I personally like it.
