Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
In your opinion/experience, what is the best exterior color to go with Natural Brown full leather interior?

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
I think there would be lots of good choices (but not necessarily in this order):
Midnight blue
Silver/Grays
Blacks

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
Nat Brown is one of my favorite Porsche interior colors and I have seen it with many exterior colors. Here's my opinion on what it looks great with....
Non-Metallic Black (very classic look)
Midnight Blue, although I like Nat Grey/Stone better. Blues just seem to go better with greys IMO.
My all time favorite with it though?.....Any of the greens, and the new Porsche racing green looks fantastic with it. My dealer had a Porsche racing green/NBL 997 a short time ago, it was a VERY nice combo.
I don't like Silver with it though, some do, some don't. The only "brown" leather I like with Silver is Cocoa, any lighter brown seems to look of place to me with silver.

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
Anything but yellow. Of course, almost nothing looks good with yellow except black or dark grey. Yellow is for sissies anyway.
Seriously, I say midnight blue (or any deep blue), white, any black, red, and greens look best. Greys and silvers + NBL are an acquired taste...

I've got to go with non-metallic black, ruby red metallic, and white.

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
Thanks for all the responses thus far. I'm really looking forward to seeing a Porsche Racing Green/Natural Brown. I sat in a PRG/Sand 997 and it's very nice....I think nat brown will be even better.
I'm also anxious to see Aqua Blue Metallic/Natural Brown.
I read a few posts where people preferred Red/Natural Brown....my last CS was Red/Sand Beige....I'm trying to stay away from Red the next go-round but if it captures me enough (need to see it in person), I might consider.
I suppose if I had to guess, sight unseen, the Racing Green and Aqua Blue are in the lead based on configurator pictures and the responses here.

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
Be careful about making a decision based on the configurator, the colors are not even close in some cases. My car's color, dark olive metallic, is such a dark green that it looks black except in bright light. The configurator's color is not even close. Some dealers have painted panels that let you see the actual color so I would check with the dealer before making a decision.
FWIW I think dark olive metallic would look great with natural brown but I am biased.

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
The new Cream Metallic should be pretty sharp, but hard to say since the color is just now becoming available.
Other possibilities - the Racing Green or Aqua Blue. Maybe even the Nordic Gold, although that's pushing it a bit.
And, yes, the Configurator colors are WAY off. Visit a local dealer, get the big thick Cayman sales book. It has much more accurate sample chips in the back cover. (That's how we picked Malachite Green/Sand Beige - vote was 3-0 in favor!)

Not sure what it's called. If I was to sell my 07 and order a 09. Natural leather with the dark brown would be my choise.

Looking to do that, but my local dealer is fairly low on inventory/variety (winter months). I actually started another thread for good places for good variety as well, lol...
Are you sure the new Cream White is actually "metallic"? It doesn't indicate that in the name in the conifgurator (the rest of the "Special Colors" contain "metallic" in their name). If that's the case, that opens up another option for me (aiming for a metallic color).

Oh, geez, you are right - Cream White isn't really a metallic. But it does appear to have a color depth that the "plain" white is lacking, and to my eye the slight off-white tint seems to harmonize with the natural leather well.
I found that the color chips in the back of the sales guide are fairly accurate, especially for the paint, much better than other manufacturers' slick fold-out sales brochures (with their printed color patches). So a dealer who has sales material on the new 911 should have something to look at, even if it is not live inventory on the floor.

Don't most people pick the exterior color first?

I think for a lot of people the interior color is just as important as the exterior with a perfect combo for them being the goal.
Most dealers have large samples of both paint and leathers, but some just don't bother having them available. One dealer here in the DFW area is almost like walking into a boutique with a whole section devoted to showing every paint and leather option. They have big 12"x12" paint sections and big swaths of leather. You can put them side by side, take them out into the sunlight etc. I spent a lot of time with those!

Ruby Red would look good with Natural Brown.

Re: Best Exterior Color for Natural Brown Interior?
I actually took some of the leather swaths and color samples out and looked at them against cars in the dealer inventory. Gives you a really good idea of what your color combination would look like.
I have to put in a plug for meteor gray/natural brown. I have it and IMHO I think it looks spectacular. Incidentally, Autospies.com found a 911 with this combination and called it the best color combination for a 911. If you put best color combination for a 911 in their search function, it will bring you to multiple photos.
I have also seen a 911 cab with malachite green/natural brown, and it was outstanding.

Park Place, by any chance? The paint/exterior boutique was seductive, like buying at a custom clothing shop. Entire staff - Sales, Finance, Service, Parts - are very cordial, even when they know you are not buying. (Big reason why they got my 2009 custom order business.)

I'd really like to see the meteor gray/nat brown in person....as well as the malachite green/nat brown. I've seen the Porsche Racing Green and it's stunning as well.

+1
Exactly. I've only seen about half the available exterior colors in person and about 1/4 of the interior colors in person without much variation in combinations. Hoping to find that perfect combination.

I'd stick with black, black pearl (or whatever it's called), white, or arctic silver.
