Smile pcm update 2.1 question

I just updated my pcm with 2.1 v3.0 upgrade. Simultaneously pressing "main" and "trip" buttons brings up a screen that confirms pcm and software upgrade has completed (they are "checked") - however I am getting a alert triangle next to "amplifier" and "cd changer" - and have lost the audio and external cd changer....??

When I access the information corresponding to both they list "targeted" and "actual " (addresses?). Target values appear, but "actual" values are wierd (ie "yyyyyyyyyy")

Do I have to reload addresses to regain the audio and external cd changer function?

RR

btw - this site was the only place i could find installation and conversion service information - my dealer also "forgot" to provide a pcm manual with the car - so a huge thanks to caymanclub !!

Does it all work?

I've had this happen to me once when I checked software versions; but later it fixed itself and everything was populated. I believe the PCM autodetects additions to the MOST bus so everything should work.

Nick_USA is the resident PIWIS expert, and you need PIWIS to do the coding... so unless you have the machine, just take it into the dealer and they will do it. My dealer did mine for 1\2 hour of labor ($60).

Thanks man, You are the Bomb !

After talking to several dealers, I was getting a little worried - Like if I didn't program this thing correctly something really bad might happen, like my engine would fall out on the floor ...I'll visit one of them in the Am.
