PCM2 to retrofit

HI all,
I'm thinking to retrofit my 2007 porsche boxster 987 with a PCM2 navigator module.
I've seen that this is quite possible, the difficult is to find exactly the compatible module. (with, w/o bose, ampl issue, ecc). Now I've the CDR24 without bose system.

Anyone of you did do that without problem?
Any suggest to find on line shop or dealer to buy the PCM2?

I've seen that here in USA is simplier to find porsche parts accessories, instead of Europe I mean..

Thanks

Toni

Re: PCM2 to retrofit

I responded to your pm... Suncoast is a dealer / club sponsor that sells PCM2's and can get you right part number for our Boxster without Bose.

Re: PCM2 to retrofit

Ok suneet,
Thank's a lot for your information.
I wrote Suncoast some days ago I'm waiting for feedabck right now..
In the meantime I red many interesting thread about this issue.
Regarding used eBay PCM, Do you think could be problem to unlock the parts? I guess that should be something used to protect by stolen parts.
Anyone have had experience retrofitting ebay PCM?

Toni

Re: PCM2 to retrofit

If you are talking about the one on ebay right now, I would make sure it works for your model year..it looks like an older model...
