I tried to search and it seems as though none of the threads actually refer to replacing a non-pcm/bose combo with an aftermarket unit. Or non PCM to PCM.

I plan on picking up an 06 CS with PCM Nav/bose. I'd love a more modern touch screen aftermarket solution. Is this possible?

I'm aware of the optical connection between the OE headunit and the amp which will require the replacement of the factory amp. And likely the speakers as well. I'm especially curious if there are other non-ICE functions that I'd be losing by replacing the stock head unit.

PM Suneet-- he seems to have the most knowledge on the PCM capatabilities for the Cayman.
