Hey,

I posted this back in May, but got no responses...

"When my iPhone is paired with my non-bose 09 cayman thru bluetooth and someone calls in, the ring sound is REALLY REALLY LOUD! I can't seem to find a way to adjust the volume of that ring. It doesn't seem to be related at all to the volume level of the radio, etc.

Anyone else notice this...or have a fix for it?"

See CDR30 Manual page 31...press PHONE button, press SET button, press INPUT button and adjust to your satisfaction...the adjustment is not great but does help.

Cannot answer or help with that because my car is on order however i had that same problem in one of my other cars with bluetooth. It about makes you jump out of your seat when it rings. My radio volume helps some but not 100%. I opted out for BT this time around for that reason and because people on the other end seem to complain all of the time about road noise and echo and more. blah blah blah... Hope CrocNV thread above helped. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. I turned the input volume all the way down, but haven't tested it with an incoming ring yet. Will let you know....
