Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and recently purchased a 06 CS. I have the PCM 2.1 with a working telephone module. Telephone module works great except that removing a sim card out of an iPhone isn't exactly convenient. Plus, I also want to be able to play music through my phone.

I've read through a lot of posts and it seems the Dension GW500 and the BTA1500 is the best option for me. I still dont understand why you need to wire a microphone, anyone able to use the existing microphones?

Lastly, where is the best place to purchase these items? I've seen a few people mention it was around 400 bucks for the GW500, but I haven't been able to find many retailers that sell the product.

1. Congrats for your purchase!
2. Depending on your cell phone company, but some do offer multiple sim cards for the same line number. In other words, you'll have one sim for your iPhone and another of the same number for your Porsche

Bought mine from Bumperplugs, Eric was great. I still need to install it, but haven't found a way to use the stock microphones.

I got mine from http://www.ipodcarkitdirect.co.uk but i dont know if they deliver to the USA???

Mine works great though definately worth what i paid.

At ~$130 (65 GBP), the 1500 is a great deal. Since they had to ship it via air to the US, I got mine in a couple of days.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all your responses. I just came across this company that integrates the ipod/iphone dock into the existing ashtray slot. I figured I would let everyone know, because I havent seen anyone mention it. This is great for people that mentioned the non-smokers package, with this you get 2 in 1, an ashtray replacement and your ipod/iphone dock!!!!
