Unusual Interior Trim Color Question (Photoshoppers Welcome!)

I've got a Basalt Black with Stone Gray interior. I think that adding some BBlack part inside will actually look pretty sweet on the stone gray. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a Bumperplugs console... but here's my question:

I'm also getting pretty close to getting the AVIC-D3 installed. Now the trim/bezel on the D3 is gloss black and it's going to stick out like a sore thumb. Plus a new trim plate will be required and I'm skeptical on the ability to match exactly to the Volcano gray to match the existing stack.

How would it look to paint the new trip piece black, as well as have all of the other trim pieces in the center stack painted black as well (climate control, bottom switch piece, etc..)? My instinct says it will be 'too much', but if someone here with some PS skills wants to blacken up my console and center stack, I'd appreciate it.

Opinions welcome.

I maybe in minority, but I don't have time to look at the interior. Driving takes up all the attention. What do passenger think does not concern me.
You have a black car (so do I), I don't think bring more black pieces into the interior will do anything. If you had guards red or yellow, than it would be a bit different.

Tough crowd! Let me give you my 02 cents. Porsche offers trim pieces in gloss black. I would not mix basalt and gloss black pieces, personally. If you do the center stack it would be coherent to do the trim strip and the gearshift trim. Leave the center console itself in stone grey, and it won't be overdone.

DaveC, I agree on mixing gloss and basalt, but I figured I'd get the big question out of the way and deal with the details later...

Chows4us - perfect - that's all I needed was a quick look. It's actually not as overpowering as I expected it might be.
