Identical to the video below.
Its a basic rpm 2 step ,very similar to what Ferrari has used in European models for since the late 90's.

Re: Late Spring Flash Special!!
Very clever Tony. That's the first I've seen this done on a Cayman.

Flashing can be done through one of our dealer's or at your home via our flash loading suite.
Keep In mind that flashing back and forth from chipped to stock isnt always the best method of "hiding" a flash for warranty service.
The me7.8 dme has a flash recognition system. This is an incremental counter for all successful flashes. We strongly believe that a high flash count is much more noticeable at the dealer then actually having a "flashed" ecu. Porsche knows by your vin how many times your car was flashed!!
In extreme circumstances this flash count can be set from 0 to 255 by us.
Our view is flash it once and leave it!

Re: Late Spring Flash Special!!
Wow. Great deal. What is the difference between primary use - street or track?

Throttle mapping.
From what I found, most street car owners want the throttle to open nearly as quickly as possible, while most track car owners want precision pedal control.
Both flashes have some throttle remapping, its just done with 2 different strategies.

Re: Late Spring Flash Special!!
How does this compare to Sprint Booster? Is there a way go back to pre-flash settings without Porsche NA knowing?

so you're saying if i want to retain my non- sports chrono's "not very sensitive" throttle pedal feel, i should go with the track version?

Re: Late Spring Flash Special!!
Would this modification have an affect on Porsche's warranty?

Couldn't this register be reset at the time of the flash as part of the flash update? I wonder what some of the other tuners with flash products have to say on this. Scott?

I'm sure Tony can provide which ever throttle map you prefer, or even a custome map. Just ask and you shall receive.
