what sort of sound tuning? louder or quieter? and why is there a hole in the muffler?

I was just making a little joke. He brought in his stock Cayman for and exhaust upgrade. What I said sound adjustment, I meant going from stock to aftermarket.

Those holes are part of our Gen. 2 system. We took a cue from the OEM mufflers and added rods through the muffler themselve to strengthen the can. So it's not really a hole, but rather a metal rod throught the center.

***This rod does not restrict any flow since it is not in the exhaust stream***

If you want an honest 3rd party report on our stuff, do this.

Go to Boardwalk Porsche and see John Gladwill. Tell him Mike from A.W.E. Tuning sent you. Ask him what he thinks about our exhaust systems.

John ordered a 997 GT3 exhaust from me for a client of his. Another client of his had a well known competitor system. They did a back to back dyno test and the winner would get all of John's business for his select group of GT3 clients that are serious about performance.
