TPC Turbo Adding a Boost Gauge

I was wondering if anyone knew of a boost gauge mount for the cayman.
I have the TPC Turbo and I've been looking into gauges however I don't want to retro fit a "universal mount" because it would look horrible. The car is much to expensive to be adding anything to it that would make it seem cheap.

Anyone know anything about adding a boost gauge?

Re: TPC Turbo Adding a Boost Gauge

if you don't have the OEM Pod in the middle you could use that setup to house a boost guage.

Re: TPC Turbo Adding a Boost Gauge

It might be better to get a boost gage/controller combination. Call TPC to see what model they use to get the best results.

I’ve thought about adding the dash pod or getting a rectangular unit to fit in the bottom space of the center console.

Re: TPC Turbo Adding a Boost Gauge

I ordered a really nice one. I could not find a place it looked good at all without major surgery.

So I went with a Kenwood 9140 and Magden computer with boost gauge and O2 wideband sensor. Very Clean - Looks Great.

Re: TPC Turbo Adding a Boost Gauge

I have the OEM Pod already, because I have the sports chrono package.

However, I was wondering if anyone makes an A pillar mount of some sort.

I did find this one for a '99-'01 boxster however it seems like some cheap materials and I don't like where it mounts.

I would like it to look like it came from the factory. I don't want it to look like I've been tooling with the car, like many STis and EVOs. I want it to look factory.

Re: TPC Turbo Adding a Boost Gauge

You can have an upholstery shop custom make you a fiberglass and upholstery covered pod for a gauge. Just get a gauge that illuminates the same color as your dash. They will even stick it to your A pillar assuming there are no airbags in there (be careful of a pillar pods with a pillar airbags).
