Thumbs up Another Happy Softronic Customer

I reflashed my 2005 987S Boxster yesterday, using the standard flash from Softronic, and everything went beautifully. Cable arrived promptly, I uploaded my stock file in a matter of a few minutes, and three hours later there's the tuned file in my email. A few more minutes of downloading the tuned file into the car's ECU and I'm taking my test drive! The mid-range power (say 3500 to 6000 rpm) is noticeably stronger; the very high end is harder to tell. The car gets up to speed more quickly and is stronger in the middle passing gears especially. I'm not a drag racer, so didn't do a lot to ascertain the change in "0-60" that everyone likes to talk up. On a road coarse, I'm betting that better middle and upper mid-range results in lower lap times.

The benefits of being able to flash back to stock at any time, and not having to remove and send the ECU in, are tangible for me. I'm too busy for that to be as convenient as doing the up- and downloading myself.

Thanks much to Scott at Softronic for a quality product, and to April for good customer service during the process!

Re: Another Happy Softronic Customer

Congratulations on the Softronic ECU upgrade, I have the SRP & software upgrade on my 2007 Boxster S and I'm extremely happy with everything. Thinking about getting Softronic upgrade for my GT3, but mod list is bigger than my budget at the moment.

Re: Another Happy Softronic Customer

I agree. Upgraded to 4.1 version in May. I really noticed the difference at Sebring in June.
Thanks Scott for the continued great work!
