Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

Sound is definitely dependent on the person. Some you can never make happy as they are not use to tuned products. Overtime, an exhaust would actually get louder, not quieter.

Sorry to hear your results.

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

For those of you with 987.2 cars this exhaust does not fit despite Vivid stating it does. See my issues posted here: http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxst...st-issues.html

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

You did not explain this before I made the purchase, I would not have purchased it otherwise. My installer made the modifications despite the false marketing of your product.

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

Guys, no fighting in the forums, please take it to email or pick up the phone and call each other. We have no idea what conversations took place between the two of you related to this matter and it is already being discussed in another topic thread. I think everyone is clear that the Agency Power exhaust does not fit a Gen 2 car without modification now. Please resolve your differences privately. Thanks in advance!

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

You called here several times talking to different sales people and Agency Power. After we realized that the exhaust would require modification, you were told to either modify it, or return it. You choose to modify it. Why you are angry is because we will not pay your labor bill. You tried to use the noise as a excuse but exhaust one is subjective. So you can feel better about yourself, you then send me a email about how you are Mr Marketing and blah blah. Now I have see your internet rants in many different places because you are unhappy.

Places have policies, you were given the opportunity to return it. You modified it, it is used, we cant take it back. Simple... This has nothing to do with customer service or false marketing. You just want a FREE $300 for your labor expense which you choose to do. I am done with this thread.

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

maybe not the best place to ask...

but on this pic:

It clearly shows some kind of Japanese/Chinese writing, and I was wondering if the exhaust system (or maybe this particular component) was made overseas?

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

I was wondering the same thing when I opened my exhaust. What is the nature of this sticker?

Update: Still loving my exhaust and no drone or quality issues

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

Translates literally to "little noise". Maybe silencer?

Re: Loving My Agency Power Exhaust (Review)

I'm on the verge of buying an exhaust system for my 2006 Cayman S. I think I have narrowed it down to Fabspeed (have on my 2001 911), Billy Boat, or APE. By the audio clips I've heard, the APE's sound is most to my liking, the APE's price appears to be the lowest, and power gains seem comparable for all three. I haven't compared weights. By the photos, Fabspeed and Billy Boat appear to be of higher quality and robustness. Thoughts, comments?

Also, I noticed that Fabspeed, Billy Boat, and some others have cross pipes between the mufflers and their muffler exhaust pipes run directly to separate exhaust tips. APE lacks the cross pipe and muffler exhaust pipes merge into a single element (Dream 1) that feeds a single tip with two outlets. What are the implications and effects of the different designs?

I'd appreciate any advice or guidance. Thanks.
