Yesterday I volunteered at the '09 Deutsche Marque show which had been postponed from 2 weeks earlier due to rain. The show, at Nottoway Park in Vienna, VA, features Porsche, BMW and Mercedes vehicles with a few straggling Audi's for good measure. Each marque has its own competition. BMW had the largest contingent (some 40 vehicles), but there was a wonderful selection of Porsches.
TeamSimple and I made up the "Cayman Class", which featured about 25 Porsches plus a few 2009 models brought in by Porsche of Arlington including a 997 4S with PDK, a 2008 Boxster RS60 with black seats (clearly outdone by an entrant who brought his RS 60 with Carrera Red seats), and a Cayenne. Chad Morrison, service manager of Porsche of Arlington brought his spotless black 986 Boxster. I have set up an album in the

I took dozens of pix so these are just the highlights.
