Talking Buzz in drivers air vent .

Hi
I have about 700 miles on Cayman S and a Buzzing sound his coming from the drivers side air vent . Have tried opening and closing the vent, changing the direction of the air flow , no help. I even gave the vent a little tap . still no good. No noise when not moving , only when on the move , worse in 1st & second gear . Any thoughts.
Thanks Joe Parisi Salem Ma

Re: Buzz in drivers air vent .

I had a similar problem with a vibration rattle coming from the passenger side dash vent. After some hands-on investigation, I took the car to the dealer. They quickly determined that one of the dash mounting clips had worked its way loose. The fix was quick and hassle free. Not a squeak or rattle in the cabin since.

Unhappy Re: Buzz is back !!!

Hi
Not a happy Cayman. After 7-10 days my buzz is back in the drivers side door speaker. Started to come back interminitly. Now it's all the time no matter if rough or vsmooth road. Tech went for a ride and verified it's happening, it's the same tech that fixed it the last 2x. Hope the third time will be the cure.
I"ok keep you informed.
