Trunk opening by FOB inoperative

Neither of the key fobs will open the rear hatch. I have replaced the battery and "reset" the fob (ie, manually unlock door, insert key, press #1 button for ~ 5 secs) to no avail. Hatch opens with level along driver's door jam.

These are the only ideas I have seen upon searching the fora (yes, I did try to search). Have I missed a thread on this topic?

Longing for more sensitivity from my fob,
Tom

Re: Trunk opening by FOB inoperative

Have you tried the other key fob that came with the car?

If it also doesn't work, then you will need to take the car in IMO.
