Re: water leak

Is your car kept outdoors by any chance? Pop the battery cover and make sure there is no debris at the bottom of the tray that could be blocking any of the drains.

I had an issue with my AC drain and after a heavy rain storm, could hear water sloshing somewhere in the front dash when making turns. My passenger footwell was flooded too, although the drivers side remained dry.

Re: water leak

I just looked for alittle bit, but someone here had the same issue not too long ago, I believe their dad actually found the problem as he was driving the car for some reason, the owner was wondering who feels the carpeted area on the door but turns out good thing he did. I believe the seals inside the door panel were gone, something that has happened b4, check previous threads you may find exactly what I'm writting bout....

Re: water leak

That's right! I wasn't reading carefully enough, wet DOOR PANEL carpet.

Here's a link to the thread:

Re: water leak

Yep, check out that thread. The problem is the seals inside the doors. Just happened to me and the dealer fixed it with no problems. I don't know why it happens, and it seems to be a rare problem, but the fix is easy. Good luck.

O and they shouldn't charge you anything. I think they should even reimburse you for the first time you brought it in and they didn't find anything.

Hello fynepax,

I used to suffer with an intermittent leak and foggy windows as well until I discovered the source of my moisture leak. I found a mis-aligned gasket that installs between the cabin-air air filter and the steel firewall. I'll send you a PM with some copies of my previous communication from when I helped another CC member with this same problem.

Regards,
Joe
