Any ideas?
Thanks!
I have a '09 Cayman S with the 'High End Bose Sound Package'
P.S. FYI: I don't blast my music, nor do I listen to music with strong bass.

Happened to me once, sort of, and seemed like it was coming from the sub. But the rest of the channels seemed ok. I hit the sub cover moderately hard a couple times while I was driving (a slight stretch, but I did it without going into the ditch!), hoping it was something loose and vibrating a little with the resonant frequencies coming from the sub...it seemed to help, but not cure it. I got out of the car for an errand, and when I started her back up, the stereo seemed just fine. Hasn't happened since.
Doesn't seem to be exactly like you described, but I have read a few things about strange intermittent stereo problems on this forum....mainly from the Bose system.
Mine is an '06, and I've had it only a few weeks.
Let us know what you find, if anything.
