"paint can" rattle please help

I have an 05 Boxster S. When I turn my car I hear what sounds like a pebble or a plastic bb inside a plastic or metal container; almost like when you shake a spray paint can. This sound is coming from right behind my seat

It sounds like this object is moving back when I make a turn. I hope it's not a piece of metal in the roll bar, Any suggestions would be most appreaciated

Have you taken a flash light and looked underneath the seats.

HEY GREYCROC Thanks for the reply. Yeah I looked under the seat.

If you ever droped a screw into a semi closed "container" and had to shake it from side to side you'd get an idea of what I hear when I make a turn.

Do you think it could be in the roll bar?

Re: "paint can" rattle please help

it could be from the lock, it shakes as the car trembles from its revving. i have a similar noise but if you put some grease on the locks it goes away. you can try that....

Maybe a pebble is stuck in the brakes/wheel?

Re: "paint can" rattle please help

Could be the attachable partition piece between the engine ocver and the rear truck--mine was going nuts the other day and I had to take it off.
