Anyone experience "check raised brake light" messge? My 3rd brake light in the rear hatch is not working anymore. I use to get this message on and off all last summer, but this time it stayed on and my 3rd brake light is not working. I live 1500km with a 8 hour ferry ride to the nearest Porsche dealer. Has anyone replaced the 3rd brake light before? What is the cost of it. I have 6 months warranty left on my '06, but i thinking it might be cheaper for me to just buy the light rather than make the long trip for warranty work.

could be a bulb...do you or a friend know a mechanic...i know its a porsche but this aint rocket science...some garage may be willing to r+r

I'll tackle removing it on the weekend. Thanks for pointing out threads on the removing the hatch liner.

Does the 3rd brake light have removable bulbs or is it an LED unit.
