hi there...

can any one talk me through removing the sliver front vents (under the fog lights) from a 2005 boxster s?

First, you have to remove the bumper. The lamps are fastened to the back side of the grilles. The bumper is "sandwiched" between the lamps and grilles.
Retained by some very small metal reatiners that are very hard to get off. I have not found a easy way to remove them except by cutting off with a pair of dikes. Of course you will have to get new retainers.
P.S. You will have to disconnect the wiring harmess to the lamps, as well as the headlamp washers on a S model. Good luck
