More heat coming from the right side vent in my 05 987s

After driving my 05 987s I notice that the right side vent is hot while the left side vent is just warm. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance for any insight

Re: More heat coming from the right side vent in my 05 987s

Assuming you mean the "vents" on the outside of the car in front of the rear wheels, I'd say this is normal. The right or passenger side vent is used to draw air into the engine compartment, while the left or drivers side vent is connected to the engine air intake. After parking, heat escapes from the right or passenger side vent...

Most cars will make a ticking sound as the metal cools down. It's normal.

Metal expands and contracts during the heating and cooling phases, a ticking sound is normal.
