Hi K-man,
Firstly thanks for all your input and advice you offer on the site. The CaymanNet club is a great resource and I have used it many a time to research the car and upgrades available. I have an 06 cayman with a bmc filter and parr re map. Specific horses at the engine: 305 exactly, which is not bad as a "real number" (ie not a "pub number"!!!). Car always run on bp 98 and shell 99 fuel..
Anyway, regarding your cats & Headers, did you ever run the standard exhaust with these and get any graphed results? If so, what sort of gains did you find? Torque, economy, generall running? Are the standard cats 200 cell or even worse than that!?
I know the standard headers are apalling as I saw the pictures on the site a few weeks back! Couldn't quite believe the mis-fit between them and the manifolds!
Look forward to your thoughts.
Any idea what the postage to London would cost?
Gavin
pls email me if you wouldn't mind. Its gavinpickering@googlemail.com. many many thanks & keep up the excellent contributions...
