    2016 911 gts 4

    https://porschenashua.com/inventory/...6+Black+999334

What do you folks think of this? Is it priced fairly? The price has dropped from 119k.
i am looking but don't like the triple black or PDK but otherwise seems a rare one. Warranty until 2021.
Is it a rare find or bleh?

    Re: 2016 911 gts 4

A 911 GTS 4 is desirable, but not especially unique. With a 7-speed, it would be more desirable (to me) and definitely much rarer. The discount off original MSRP will show how much depreciation the first owner ate, and help determine whether it's a "deal."
    Black/black rocks my world lol.

Thanks. Very pricey too. A new 911 4 is less than this.

Agree about the triple black, that is a deal breaker for me. Plenty of 911's around and black is a common color. For that money I'd but a GTR instead.

    Re: 2016 911 gts 4

Hard to tell if this is a good deal. GTSs are rare especially with AWD. Many folks get the GTS purely for the wider body. It's the only carerra model that combines wide body and rear wheel drive.

Since it is rare, it's hard to price accurately (little to no market data).

On a side note I bought my car from Porsche of Nashua and the price listed seems fair for this GTS. Though if you make a serious offer they might give you a better deal, it worked for me. They didn't even have pics up when I called about my 981 BS.

Good price. Black book value as of this week for 2016 GTS in NH with that mileage is retails at ~117K trade in at 103. At 117 they were just above avg retail. At 112 they are trying to sell it.

VIN decoder says $137,145 new, so that is around a 19% drop. A 2016 car sold in 2015 it will be 2 years old this coming July. Not sure how long it has sat on the lot. But if it were me, I'd offer $105 and settle at $110. Good luck!

    Re: 2016 911 gts 4

Thanks. It is too rich for me right now and doesn't seem to be a rare find as commented above. This is more money than a new one even though it is GTS 4. I priced a new 911 4 at 110k lightly optioned with the colors I could pick and a manual.
I am going to see what shows up at the dealer this summer. Used.

BTW, is it possible to find a 991 4s with a stick, used of course, in the 80-85k range? 13 or 14 model year?

One on Autotrader (figure 2K to refinish the wheels if you don't want red wheels -- Forgelines aren't junk though), and 13 on Porsche's Pre-Owned Locator that could easily be negotiated to $85K or below (with several already at or below that). Several nearby (Chambers).

Prefer local. Chambers has one but is a cab. I emailed my sales guy to get in touch with me if he gets anything in. He has this 16 GTS but too much money for me. And PDK. No autos for me.
i am hoping I will drive it more. Right now, I am not driving my car at all six months of the year. Great car, limited use. Will see. Got to prep my wife too.
Yeah, I am vacillating a not, being indecisive mostly becasue I don't drive my car enough. If I spend another 30-40k and trade in BS, maybe it will get a 911 4s that perhaps will extend the driving season even during winter if I want to. Decisions, decisions.

No, sorry, the options are worthless. The only thing of value is "not having a sunroof", that removes value (and mileage). I know this is hard thing for some people to accept but all options are about worthless on resale.

    Re: 2016 911 gts 4

991.1 GTS fetch top prices, but I think this is overdone.

It isn't a top of the line GTS. It doesn't have Alcantara, it has the sofa seats, it has sunroof and PDK, and no aero upgrade. No upgraded trim or colored dials, so the cabin is just contrastless black. Still have to deal with centerlock wheels. I think you would be able to squeeze them a bit.

ETA: I am not offhand sure whether a 991.1 GTS coupe defaulted to S-PASM. If not that's another un-GTS-ness.

PASM was default. S-PASM was an option. To be honest, most people don't want S-PASM. People going to Porsche 911s come more from luxury sedans and luxury crossovers. They expect a very compliant ride.

I opted X73 in the CGTS and X73 in the Spyder. Most comfortable cars I've ever owned. However X73 didn't survive going into the 982 because it was such a rarely specced option, and an option that caused consternation for a chunk of buyers who specced it. X73 came into existence only on the 987.2 Spyder and Cayman R. That it survived as long as it did surprises me. A failed experiment by Porsche Exclusive.

    Re: 2016 911 gts 4

SPASM ( nice acronym) is an option. Supposedly need the front axle lift with this to avoid losing the front bumper. This car for me has too many things going against it. Price is high. I can get a 991.2 4 with a special paint for this price. Triple black is a no-no for me. And most importantly, it is an automatic. If it were a rarity, then perhaps I would investigate. But you guys are saying nothing special so why bother.
My dealer said they are willing to order a new car but I am not sure yet. Can't decide. Meanwhile, if anyone looked, the prices on the configurator have gone up slightly for options. Now can only order a 2018 it seems.

If you think you can take everything head on, yes, you will scrape. If you take things obliquely when you should, complete non-issue.

I have put my Spyder OVER CURBS to get into some drives[1]. The gas station I go to can scrape a completely stock Camry (seen it happen many times!), but for me it's a complete non-issue because I don't dare take it head on.

No different than GT cars before FAE (which is to say, a LOT of them), and a lot of older exotics. If you don't show any care, you will damage it (and it's 100% your fault). If you take an extra 3 to 5 seconds for these occasional situations, complete non issue.

    ----

[1] To be fair, that one wasn't easy. That took about 2 minutes to get it up without scraping the wheels, the rockers, or the front fascia, but I did something most people wouldn't try in non-SUV

    Re: 2016 911 gts 4

FWIW on the 991.2 GTS S-PASM is standard (coupe only). You can lift by 10mm for free.

The 718 Boxster S has a 20mm lower PASM which for some reason is not called S-PASM.
