Two things:
One: I'm pretty excited about heading down to WERKS reunion. I have set my alarm at 04:30 and plan to leave at 5 or 5:15... (I'm 68+ and it takes me a bit longer to get out of the house than it used to. I charged up my camera, mounted a wide angle for those "dramatic" fender shots, gave the car a nice wash and quick "wax" -- AMMO NYC products (no affiliation). A few of us from our Yosemite Region will be caravanning down to Carmel...
like I said, pretty jazzed about going.
Two: I'm not going to get into the 981 vs 718 sound discussion, but I will say that I look forward to every time I crawl into my CGTS cockpit and fire up the engine. It starts with a pretty loud "RRR-rap" that sort of echo's in the garage. I just don't get tired of it.
That's it --- hope to see a bunch of you P-9 folks at the show.
Regards. D
