Looks shorter in length and height, but with better approach/departure angles. Wonder if its lighter as well?

Cool. I think it looks shorter (not as tall) but the same length front to back with about the same wheelbase. I'll be curious to see the specs. I'm hoping it's lighter, it would almost have to be.

If they put the diesel in it for the US market I'm going to have to get one. I also hope they keep their current towing capacity.

Looking for LED rear light units to replace stock

I am pretty sure I caught a glimpse of the new Cayenne about two weeks ago. While driving through the town of Vahingen, just south of Stuttgart, I passed a small convoy of porsches, one of which was a Cayenne with black coverings over most of the front and rear along with the porsche crest on the hood.

I think it's different from the GTS red. It looks like a Ferrari kind of red.

Looks like it might be Ruby Red, but the pic makes it look a little more purply than my car.

The styling looks to be a definite improvement over the existing model.

I visited the dealer over the weekend and was told the official release was supposed to be last Monday. I also asked if they were going to bring the diesel to the US and the sales guy told me that Porsche does not use a diesel anywhere in the world and would never. It's amazing how clueless these people are. If I knew less about my industry and specific projects than casual hobbyist I don't know how I'd make a living. Maybe I'll buy my next Porsche from costco.
